I've been going back and forth with my buddy Steve about this exact thing — he's absolutely convinced that Sunday evenings are magic for slots. Honestly, I think he's lost the plot, but here I am wondering if there's anything to it.

Here's what I actually think is happening. Slots run on RNGs, random number generators. Every single spin should be totally random and independent from whatever came before it. The timing literally shouldn't matter whether you're playing at 3am Tuesday or midday Friday.

That's the entire point of licensing regulations, yeah? The UKGC would absolutely crucify any casino caught messing with payout schedules.

Now I'll be honest — I have had some brilliant sessions on Friday nights. But I reckon that's because I'm in a better headspace when the weekend's kicking off. Maybe I play differently when I'm relaxed, or maybe I just remember the good sessions more clearly (confirmation bias and all that).
