So I've been tracking my playing time this past month and honestly, I'm a bit shocked at where most of my deposit money actually goes. Got me wondering if anyone else has noticed this about their own habits?
Right, so here's the thing. I always tell myself I'm a slots person through and through. Love the Book games, bit of Gonzo's Quest, your standard Starburst session when I can't decide what else to play. Quick spins, easy to hop on during lunch break, no pressure. That's my comfort zone, yeah?
But when I actually looked at my account history properly, turns out I'm spending WAY more on live casino than I thought.
Like, it's not even close. We're talking maybe 70-30 split in favour of live tables, which proper surprised me.
I think what happens is I'll log on planning to do a quick 20 quid on slots, maybe hit some free spins if I'm lucky. But then I see the live blackjack tables and think "just one shoe, can't hurt." Next thing I know it's two hours later and I've gone through way more than I planned. There's something about the real dealers and other players that just keeps me glued there—maybe it's the chat function, maybe it's that it feels more like actual gambling than watching cartoon symbols spin around?
The slots are definitely better for my bankroll lasting longer though, I'll give them that. Twenty quid can keep me entertained for ages on a low stake slot. Same twenty on live roulette? Gone in about four spins if things go south (and they usually do).
My mate swears blind he only plays Evolution games now, says slots are a mug's game. But I've watched him blow through a ton on Lightning Roulette in about ten minutes flat, so not sure he's got the high ground there.
What about you lot? When you actually think about it properly, where does most of your money end up going? Are you hardcore slots only, live tables all the way, or a mix like me who doesn't even realize where it's all going until you check? And do you reckon one's better value than the other, or does it all come out the same in the end anyway?
Genuinely curious what everyone else's split looks like.
