Saudi Drops $45M on New Global eSports Nations Cup

Saudi Arabia’s ESports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) announced it will host the inaugural eSports Nations Cup (ENC) in Riyadh this November, with a total prize and support pool of $45M (approx. KRW 64B).
The event expands on the club-centric World Cup by adding national teams, player/coach rewards, club incentives, and development support.
Sixteen titles will be contested, and all qualified entrants earn payouts — first place individual prize is $50K, second is $30K, and third is $15K.
An additional $20M development fund helps logistics, marketing, and team programs, signaling a major shift in global eSports competition.
